Our Services

Battery Storage

Battery installs, retrofits, and commercial storage support for homes and businesses across Brisbane, South East Queensland, and Melbourne, reviewed and delivered by an experienced electrical team.

Energy Storage

Battery storage for homes and businesses.

Battery storage can help homes and businesses use more of their solar energy, manage backup expectations, and plan around tariffs and usage patterns. Give Industries reviews each Brisbane, South East Queensland, and Melbourne site before recommending a system, so the proposal is grounded in practical assumptions.

Backup Power

Backup capability depends on final system design, selected circuits, battery state of charge, household usage, and site conditions.

Energy Optimisation

A battery may help some households use more of their solar after sunset. We review your bill and assumptions before recommending a system.

Homeowners can also start from Home Energy for solar, batteries, EV charging, pricing, and practical advice in one place.

Monitoring & Handover

We commission the system, explain backup settings, talk you through app monitoring, and make sure you understand how the battery should operate day to day.

Commercial Battery Storage

For businesses, battery storage can be reviewed against demand charges, backup expectations, on-site solar use, load profile, and operating goals before a system is recommended.

Our Process

How battery installation works.

01

Energy assessment

We review your energy usage, solar generation, and goals to prepare a battery capacity and configuration recommendation for your home or business.

02

System design

We recommend a battery and inverter setup, whether AC-coupled retrofit or hybrid system, and provide a detailed proposal with assumptions shown.

03

Installation & wiring

The installation team integrates the battery system with your switchboard and solar according to the approved job scope and required review process.

04

Commissioning & handover

We commission the system, configure backup and optimisation settings, and walk you through monitoring and operation.

Pricing Guide

Indicative residential battery pricing.

These homeowner ranges give you a starting point. Commercial battery storage is quoted project by project after reviewing load profile, demand charges, backup expectations, on-site solar use, product selection, and site conditions.

Essential Backup

5kWh

$5,000 - $7,500

May suit selected essential-circuit backup where the site and system design support it.

Standard Home

10kWh

$9,000 - $13,000

May suit households wanting more evening solar use and selected-circuit backup, subject to design review.

Larger Systems

15kWh+

$14,000 - $20,000

May suit higher-usage homes or larger backup requirements after technical review of circuits, load, and site constraints.

Business Storage

Commercial

Quoted to scope

For businesses where demand profile, backup needs, on-site solar use, controls, and installation conditions need project-specific review.

Prices are indicative only and vary based on battery brand, inverter compatibility, backup design, and installation requirements. Contact us for a detailed quote.

Common Questions

Battery Storage FAQ

Do you install batteries for both homes and businesses?

Yes. We review and install batteries for homes and businesses. The recommendation depends on usage, existing solar, tariffs, backup expectations, available space, switchboard condition, and site constraints.

Where should homeowners start?

Homeowners can start on the Home Energy page, which brings together solar, batteries, EV charging, indicative pricing, practical advice, and next steps in one place.

Do I need solar panels to get a battery?

A battery is usually reviewed alongside solar generation, tariffs, usage patterns, and backup goals. Standalone battery options need a separate review before we recommend a configuration.

How long will a battery power my home during an outage?

It depends on battery capacity, selected circuits, battery state of charge, household usage, weather, and final system design. We show backup assumptions clearly before recommending a configuration.

What is a Virtual Power Plant (VPP)?

Some batteries may be compatible with Virtual Power Plant programmes, but participation depends on the selected product, retailer or programme rules, customer preference, and current eligibility. We can explain the option where relevant, but we will not design around VPP income unless the assumptions are current and clearly documented.

How long do batteries last?

Battery warranties vary by product, use, and installation conditions. We show the relevant warranty information for the selected product in the proposal and handover material.

Can I add a battery to my existing solar system?

Often, but it depends on the existing inverter, switchboard, available space, product compatibility, and your goals. We assess those details before recommending an AC-coupled retrofit, hybrid inverter upgrade, or another path.
